Throughout the series Anderson's heroine keeps up with the evolving science, while evolving and growing herself. I've seen Lin Anderson speak at Bloody Scotland, and like many fine writers in this genre, she's scrupulous about what the science can and can't do, and how it's changing. Highly recommended!"
