The Delaware Valley Chapter of SISTERS IN CRIME (DelValSinC) is a mystery writers and readers group that includes people of all genders who live in southern New Jersey, Delaware, Philadelphia, and surrounding areas of Pennsylvania. Our membership is composed of mystery readers as well as writers. Our doors are open to anyone who loves to settle in with a good book — especially an absorbing mystery, crime, or suspense novel. ​

MONTHLY MEETINGS

The Delaware Valley Chapter of SISTERS IN CRIME meets once a month from January through May and from September through December.

Meetings are held on the third Saturday of the month from 10:30 a.m. until noon at the Tredyffrin Public Library, 582 Upper Gulph Road, Strafford, PA 19087, in the first-floor meeting room, directly inside the front entrance to the library.

Our guest speaker will be Leslie Maxwell, a nationally known and respected expert in the field of federal sentencing and pre-sentence investigation with 34 years of field experience. She will be discussing federal sentencing and the pre-sentence investigation. The imposition of an appropriate sentence is one of the most important decisions in the criminal justice system. Speaker portion begins at 11a.m.
